Peter Wood is an attorney in Raleigh, North Carolina where he lives with his patient wife and surly cat. He has had stories published in Ray Gun Revival, Bull Spec, Stupefying Stories and Every Day Fiction. He loves living in the South and considers this story to be part of a new genre, Southern Fried Science Fiction. For a year after college he repossessed cars for a Florida bank. Parts of this story are based on real events, including contending with a co-worker who insisted on making a bad situation worse by carrying a gun.
Folly Blaine is a writer living in the Pacific Northwest.
