January’s Table of Contents

From the Editors

Happy New Year! Welcome to a new year, and of course a year full of Every Day Fiction. Hopefully 2008 exceeded all of your expectations, because we intend to knock your socks off in 2009.

And if you’re anywhere near Vancouver, Canada on January 24th, please join us from 4 to 7 PM at Spartacus Books to officially launch and celebrate our anthology.

For Readers:

We’re back with work from several names you’ll recognize, including Oonah V. Joslin, K.C. Ball and Gustavo Bondoni, as well as some newcomers to EDF such as Stu Andrews and Carol Ayer.

Also, for the first time in EDF’s history, we will be skipping a day. We won’t be publishing a story on Saturday, January 10th so that we can move EDF to a new server. This unfortunately means that the site will be down for most if not all of the day, but it’s a necessary move so that we can bring back features like the Author Pages that you’ve all grown to love, and it will give us the flexibility to add more features in the future.

For Writers:

We’re actively looking for stories suitable for Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day and Easter, and springtime stories in general are also wanted.

  • I think NO STORY SCHEDULED is going to be one of our next greats….i think his latest story SERVER MOVING DAY will rock EDF

  • Pingback: a moving line()

  • It’s NO STORY SCHEDULE’d first appearance at EDF. Hopefully, his peculiar brand of humour will appeal to our readers!

  • Nicholas

    I don’t know…I’ve read some of NO STORY SCHEDULED’s other work, and I find his brand of scatalogical humour juvenile and, at times, offensive. But maybe with EDF he’s turned over a new leaf.

    😉

    Happy New Year’s, everyone.
